There are eighteen of you around the table. The menu runs to more than 130 dishes, everyone reads it at their own pace, and a quarter of an hour later the waiter still hasn't finished taking orders. The first plates land while two people are still torn between a tajine and the pasta, and everybody ends up eating at a different moment. A set group menu in Agadir removes all of that in one move: a meal agreed beforehand, served to everyone at the same time, and a budget you know before you walk through the door.
At Madina, in Haut Founty, we host groups every day — families, work teams, clubs, big tables of friends. Our kitchen runs from 8am to midnight, with more than 130 Moroccan and Italian dishes, all of it halal. A group menu is nothing more exotic than a selection from that menu, settled with you in advance so the meal runs without a dead moment.
What it actually changes for the organiser
When you are the one arranging a meal for a crowd, you carry everything: the date, the guests, everyone's tastes, and the quiet worry of not knowing where you stand financially. A menu agreed in advance deals with all four.
- Everyone is served at the same time — no more table where six people eat while the rest watch
- The kitchen knows what it has to produce and starts work before you arrive
- Nobody spends twenty minutes reading a menu: you arrive, you sit down, it begins
- The quote is drawn up beforehand, so you know what you are committing to
- One bill at the end, not fifteen sums scribbled on the edge of a napkin
A small piece of admin that, in practice, decides the mood of the whole meal.
How we build your group menu
Nothing here is prefabricated: there is no "Menu A" pinned to the wall. You tell us three things — how many of you there are, the occasion (a birthday, a team lunch, a family gathering, a business meal) and any dietary requirements. We come back with a proposal drawn from our menu and shaped around your table.
You read it, you change whatever doesn't suit: we swap a dish, add another. Once it is signed off the menu stays put — and on the day, nobody has a decision left to make.
Moroccan, Italian, or both
This is where we genuinely earn our place. In every group there are the people who came for the Moroccan dishes — tajine, couscous, pastilla, rfissa, seffa, grills — and the others, usually the younger ones, who will only ever look at the Italian side: wood-fired pizzas, fresh pasta, risotto. Both come out of the same kitchen. So your menu can be Moroccan, Italian or a mix, with a choice of two mains when the food goes out. Nobody goes home having eaten bread.
What a group menu looks like at Madina
Here is the shape these menus usually take: a starting point to fill with what you actually want to serve, not a fixed formula.
- A starter to share: Moroccan salads, briouates, or pastilla cut into portions
- A main with a choice: slow-cooked tajine, grills and skewers, wood-fired pizza or fresh pasta
- Couscous if your meal falls on a Friday — that is the tradition here, and our kitchen keeps it
- A dessert: Moroccan pastries, sliced fresh fruit, or something sweet to share
- Mint tea to finish, the kind that keeps everyone at the table another half hour
Everything is halal and there is no alcohol, so it is a question your guests will never have to ask. Vegetarian options are prepared on request, as for anyone avoiding a particular ingredient — tell us while we are writing the menu, not on the day with the plate in front of them.
In our dining room, everything is ready
To host a group at the restaurant, we have a private mezzanine that seats up to 20, and a larger room on the ground floor for bigger tables. A television is available if you have something to present, the Wi-Fi is free, and the terrace stays open for anyone who would rather take their tea outside.
Or delivered to wherever your group meets
If your guests can't come to us, the same menu goes out as a large group order: food delivered ready to serve, hot-hold equipment so it stays at temperature, staff who can handle the service on site, and disposable plates and cutlery if you would rather skip the washing up.
We deliver across Agadir — Haut Founty, Founty, Talborjt, Cité Dakhla, Hay Mohammadi and the whole Agadir Bay area — as well as Inezgane and Dcheira, and up the coast to Aourir, Tamraght and Taghazout. Let us be straight about what we are: a restaurant that cooks and delivers, not an events company. That is what protects both the quality and the budget — nobody stands between the chef and your table.
Tell us the date, the number of people and the occasion, and we will put a menu to you. WhatsApp is the quickest route: +212 5283-81269, or email contact@madinaagadir.com, any day from 8am to midnight. Browse our menu of more than 130 dishes to spot what appeals, then fill in the request a quote form — we will come back to you with a clear proposal.
