There is always that moment, the night before the feast, when you count the guests again: the cousins driving in from out of town, the neighbours who will drop by for tea, the children who are hungry every two hours. Putting together an Eid meal for the whole family is a joy, but it is also days on your feet in the kitchen, and one person who never quite gets to sit down. Eid al-Fitr: the sweet morning table
After a month of iftar and Ramadan evenings, the morning of Eid has a particular taste to it. You get up, you put on new clothes, and the first thing you share is a sweet table. Msemen still warm, harcha, beghrir with honey, amlou, pastries, and of course mint tea going round and round.
That is precisely the kind of table we know how to put together. Come and enjoy it here from early in the morning — we open at 8am every day, feast days included — or ask us to prepare the whole spread for your home, if visitors are on the way and you would rather not spend the morning at the stove. Our desserts and sweet things round off that sort of platter beautifully, with fresh juices for the children.
Eid al-Adha: the days after, when everyone needs a break
Eid al-Adha is a different affair. The first day belongs to the house and to the grilling. But by the next day, everybody knows the same feeling: nobody wants to cook any more, and above all, nobody wants to look at another plate of grilled meat.
That is the moment to change register. A generous couscous, a slow-cooked tajine, proper Moroccan salads, fish, a few wood-fired pizzas for the children, and desserts to finish. Our Moroccan dishes are made for large tables, and the Friday couscous remains our favourite tradition for bringing everyone together around a single dish. Coming to eat at Madina
We are open every day from 8am to midnight, feast days included. If the house is full and the kitchen simply cannot keep up, gathering everyone here is often the simplest answer. We have a private mezzanine that seats up to 20, a larger room on the ground floor for bigger gatherings, and an outdoor terrace that is lovely when the weather is mild. More than 130 dishes on the menu, Moroccan and Italian, all of them halal: everyone finds something, even the fussy ones.
Having the meal delivered to you
If the celebration is happening at home or at your parents' place, we prepare the order and bring it to you. In practice:
- Dishes delivered ready to serve, cooked that same day in our own kitchen.
- Hot-hold equipment, so everything arrives and stays at the right temperature.
- Staff who can serve on site, if you would rather stay with your guests.
- Disposable plates and cutlery, if you have no wish to end the evening at the sink.
We deliver across Agadir and along the nearby coast: Haut Founty, Founty, Talborjt, Cité Dakhla, Hay Mohammadi, Agadir Bay, as well as Taghazout, Tamraght, Aourir, Inezgane and Dcheira. One honest note: we are not an events company with our own function hall. We are a restaurant, with a real kitchen and real chefs, that prepares your order and brings it to you.
